Mich., July 15, 1997 -- By a vote of 13-4, the Nonprescription Drugs Advisory
Committee and the Dermatologic and Ophthalmic Drugs Advisory Committee
today recommended that based on safety and effectiveness of the product,
Rogaine Extra Strength for Men should be made available for over-the-counter
(OTC) sales.
Now that the news is out,

Rogaine Extra Strength For Men contains two and one-half
times the active ingredient found in original Rogaine. This means that
a higher concentration of Rogaine gets to the roots of your hair and can
generate 45% more hair regrowth than regular strength Rogaine. It also
means that results may occur at two months with twice daily usage versus
four months with a regular strength product. Just like regular strength
Rogaine, it has been proven safe in extensive clinical trials and it only
